Development in 2008 of a booking platform for Viajes Chinamar, conceived as a white-label solution for travel agencies and travel portals.
Its forms could be embedded in any travel website and offered customisation options to match the visual identity of each site. This allowed agencies to incorporate registration, search and booking services into their own websites without having to develop an independent platform.
Booking searches and management worked directly with the Amadeus platform through its web services. Access to this system was restricted to IATA-accredited agencies, and Airline Center provided the integration these agencies needed to use its services through the platform.
The application included an administration area for managing wholesalers, agencies, users, passengers and bookings. Administrators could validate new agencies, view their users and access their associated bookings.
The booking process allowed users to specify the origin and destination, travel dates, number and type of passengers, and selected class or fare. The platform also included components for processing payments.
The project was delivered directly for Viajes Chinamar, with full development and programming.
