El Corte Inglés FPP simulator

Development in 2015 of a simulator for training El Corte Inglés staff to use the card administration system, with particular emphasis on operations involving the Fórmula Personal de Pago.

The application faithfully reproduced the interface and behaviour of the real system so that students could practise in a training environment without interacting with live operations or production data.

The simulator allowed users to configure their terminal and workplace, navigate the different operational modules, assign references and run searches using details such as the contract, identity document or card number. It also reproduced the validations, alerts and responses users could encounter in their day-to-day work.

The solution included processes for creating and amending FPP contracts, assigning references and reviewing operations, together with local storage for retaining information used during practice sessions.

The project was completed directly for El Corte Inglés, covering the full development and programming. Its design was not based on an original visual proposal, but on a faithful reproduction of the system it was intended to simulate.
