Development in 2018 of an interactive course for training El Corte Inglés staff in the use of RFID technology for item-level control and merchandise management.
The training explained the system components, how RFID tags work and their relationship with each product's electronic code. It also showed how information captured by reading devices was incorporated into the inventory control application.
The content covered operations such as encoding and reading tags, receiving merchandise, counting by department or reference, searching for items, and stock movements in and out.
The course included guided practice exercises reproducing a PDA interface and the operation of the RFID reader. Participants had to follow instructions, read tags, look up products and update the displayed information to complete each exercise.
The project was completed directly for El Corte Inglés, covering the full development and programming, with the visual design supplied by the client.
