Development in 2014 of Phii, a mobile application and service platform created by Inspide to improve road safety through geolocation and information shared by its users.
The application considered the user's location, mode of transport and surrounding conditions to identify potential risks during a journey. Users could select how they were travelling, receive relevant information and report situations such as breakdowns, accidents, congestion or emergencies.
The concept paid particular attention to cyclists and pedestrians, while also supporting other vulnerable road users and professional groups working on the road. A dedicated professional mode was designed to improve their visibility, prevent accidents and help traffic flow.
The project was delivered directly for Inspide, with full development and programming.
