Development in 2019 of the technology infrastructure supporting the PickDrive shared mobility application.
The project included the backend and web services feeding a mobile application, the CMS used to administer the service and the databases. The system managed members, vehicles, bookings, car parks, driving licences, additional services and waiting lists.
The platform also connected to dedicated lockers installed in the car parks to store vehicle keys. Each booking generated a specific access code allowing the user to open the relevant compartment and collect the keys for the reserved vehicle.
The solution also included dedicated processes for managing the fleet, subscriptions and service communications.
The project was delivered for PickDrive through Syntonize, covering development of the backend, web services, CMS, databases and connectivity with the key lockers. The visual design was supplied by the agency.
